My favorite tool, PL/SQL Developer, from allround automations has a very nice "compare schemas" capability that will create the DDL to allow you to synch up designs for two schemas that can be on the same or different instances. I am sure that Toad has similar capabilities but I havent used toad in ages so i am not sure.
