Not strictly a PL/SQL question but I figure what the heck ... We are looking at using some infopath front end forms (yes i know about apex...not my call) to gather some information that we are then going to dump into an oracle back end.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom that they would like to share? I know that there are several ways that we can do it: direct ODBC-like connection, WEBDAV, writing to a web service to name a few. Are there any horrendous gotcha stories with this kind of implementation that anyone knows about? Secondarily, does anyone know of a good resource (other than the official docs, we have all of those that we can ever use) that might help my web developer and I navigate this little adventure? yes, I know google is my friend but I am at work at the moment and half of the bloggy places are blocked so i can't tell if they are useful or not.
