I have an oracle 10g database that I can connect to fine using SQL plus from an oracle 10g client on another pc. When I try to create an ODBC connection that uses the 10g client - I get the following error:-
SQLState=08004 [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified Since I can tns ping succesfully - I'm confused by the above message. It appears to be a local issue as I can connect using identical odbc connection specifics on another pc.
