I am not quite sure what your question is. Are you saying that you are
currently working in an Oracle 7.3 environment and you have an
interview for somewhere that has come into the 21st century?

Stick to the basics. Be upfront about what your experience is and how
having to work on outmoded technology has made you more resourceful
(give examples). Stress, if it us true, what you have done to keep
your skills as up to date as possible. A lot of us keep the newest
version of technology installed on machines at home even if we aren't
using it at work. If you do that then make sure that you mention it,
that you know what the new capabilities are and know how to use them
even if you are not currently using them at work.

Other than that there isn't much anyone can tell you that is going to
help. If they are looking for experience on up to date technology then
you are going to have to be very convincing that even though you don't
have it you have the ability to learn and get up to speed as quickly
as possible. Again, be prepared to give examples. The fact that you
got through a keyword screen with only Oracle 7.3 experience hopefully
means that an actual person saw something else in your resume that
they liked.

Now, if I have misunderstood and you are saying that you are going to
interview for an Oracle 7.3 position all I can say is that I hope they
are paying a LOT of money.
