Hi.. its not like to develop entire application into Plsql. let me explain u ..First any application have database to maintain the records.. here there are some scenorio we need to give some information to front end application as per u Java.. for that purpose jave people put some SQL queries and handling the back process.. if they want to do some task from database and return the result to Java.. for that purpose we are giving them procedure , function , packages ect... to simplify the Java coading ...
