This developer would be working on the development of a major healthcare web portal using modern web portal environment, including Solaris, BEA WebLogic Portal, Java, and J2EE. Responsibilities will include leading system administration of pre-production environments, including development environments, and system, integration, and performance testing environments. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities •8 years of related professional experience •Solaris administration, installation, user management, and troubleshooting •Linux administration, installation, user management, and troubleshooting •Racking and unracking Unix hardware, including servers, drives, and SANs •Extensive BEA Weblogic 9.2.x installation experience including software installation, clustering, domain setups, deploying and undeploying applications, customizing domains, and troubleshooting Weblogic issues •Extensive experience in Web Servers including installation, management, configuration, and troubleshooting Tomcat and SUNOne •Proven ability to work independently on complex software development tasks •Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly •Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer & interpersonal skills.
