*This is AIG in Berkeley Heights… it's real… it's a support type of role – NOT new development (PM doing production support)* Target rate is *$520/day* Major international firm is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a long-term consulting assignment in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Will be involved in managing a Data Warehouse for WC Financial Calls external filing to NCCI and Independent States. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING: ETL (Ab Initio is preferred but this is flexible), Java/J2EE, and Reporting/BI (Cognos is preferred but this is flexible) Requirements:- --7-10 years of project management experience leading large, complex and time box projects with 20-30 staff of employees and consultants. --Experienced in implementing new Data Warehouse applications or major enhancements. --Managed projects and resources across multiple threads: ETL (Ab Initio or equivalent), UI (Java J2EE) and Presentation (COGNOS 8). --Hands-on experience with a full systems life cycle methodology from requirements to deployment including project management, resource planning, financial analysis and status reporting. --A proven track record of delivering systems on-time, on budget without sacrificing scope. --Insurance experience highly desirable. --Exceptional risk identification and mitigation ability including agility and creativity in resolving project issues without impacting schedule or cost. --Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) used in daily interaction with direct and extended project team and selling ideas and solutions to Business/IT senior management. --Prior experience in top tier consulting firms (including the Big 4s) a plus. Responsibilities: --Production support of a Regulatory Reporting (RRD) Data Warehouse for compiling Workers Compensation statistical reports to external regulators (NCCI and Independent States). --Plan, manage and deliver system enhancements for the RRD Data Warehouse based on prioritization of requirements and a release schedule negotiated with the Business. --Manage a team of Business Analysts, Data Analysts, ETL/Java and COGNOS architects, Technical Lead and developers. --Develop a resource plan for managing the releases. Coach staff and provide timely feedback to staff. --Develop, control and report project financials (budget, actual, forecast and variance reporting) on the project. --Present weekly project status and issues to Business and IT management. -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
