Our client north of Boston has an immediate need for a Junior-Level Quality Assurance Analyst (1-2 years of experience).

Software Q/A Analyst SEND RESUMES TO [EMAIL PROTECTED] Specific responsibilities include: · Creating test plans, test scenarios, test cases, executing test cases and keeping track of test results. · Developing and running functional test scripts. · Documenting test plans/scripts and other details. · Testing the application using sound engineering practices and employing standard Source Code Management practices. - Conducting performance testing (Load, Stress, Endurance and Spike testing). · Conducting web applications security testing (Authentication, Authorization, SQL injection testing and testing for similar web application vulnerabilities). · Conducting software black box and white box testing and integrated systems testing. · Defining, developing, executing and automating test plans and test cases. Mandatory Qualifications at Hire · Strong knowledge of software quality assurance practices, with strong testing aptitude. · 2+ years of software testing experience. · 1+ year of experience testing complex data structures. · Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. · Experience with an enterprise class Source Code Management system. · Experience with back-end testing. · Experience writing SQL queries to verify test results. · Project life cycle experience, preference to a structured development methodology. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Experience with performance testing (Load, Stress, Endurance and Spike testing). · Candidate must be a self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work with a small development team. · Candidate must be comfortable sharing knowledge and generally working to enrich the team's capabilities.
