Focused on collecting, manipulating, analyzing and displaying information for our customers related to performance and Key Performance Indicators, this team is at the center of the entire organization. Using collaborative methods for development and support of our applications, the team provides services from development of new applications, support and extension of current ones, as well as supporting development of new products. Job Duties / Responsibilities: • Lead and foster the development of high performing technical project teams to meet strategic objectives. • Influence, identify, and recruit technical leaders into the organization to insure the appropriate levels of quality on architecture(s). • Coach, mentor, and delegate to engineers facilitating their development. • Good at working at an abstract level • Able to dig in to find the Root Cause of issues • Participate in all phases of the System Development Lifecycle • Responsible for the design and implementation of Complex solutions involving multi-terabyte database systems, web-based applications, business intelligence solutions and tools • Responsible for on-call rotation duties Required Skills: • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or Equivalent • 5-7 years experience in DELPHI developing large, enterprise systems, including deep understanding of technologies, specifically one or more of the following: o Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) o Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Oracle 10g • 2+ years of experience in Database Design with a focus on Availability • 5+ years of systems documentation experience • Strong design and modeling capabilities • Personal Accountability • Effective Communication, Influence/Persuasion skills • Strong experience with object-oriented OOD software development methodologies and practices. • Design large scale systems in an environment involving PC based, Web based, and Communications solutions. • Tolerant of ambiguity, willing to backtrack and seek multiple solution Preferred Skills: • Agile / Scrum / Iterative Methodology • Transportation Industry Experience • Microsoft / Oracle Certification in Database or Development • ITIL Certification (Service Management or Service Delivery) *Position#2 Job Profile : Oracle Apps DBA Location : Wayne, PA Duration : Long Term Rate : DOE* Skills: Oracle Apps DBA, Oracle Application Server DBA, Database Administration with Oracle Enterprise Manager. Description: All aspects of database administration including installation, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, backup and recovery. Responsible for evaluating patching requests & Applying Oracle Apps Patches. Database Administration with Oracle Enterprise Manager. Refreshing the Test, Dev and Clone Oracle Application development instances . 24x7 production and operational support including pro-active database monitoring, and issue resolution . Database and application optimization including performance tuning, query optimization and supportability .
