Consultant MUST have experience in Websphere Replication server. 3 month engagement to migrate DB2 tables to Teradata using Websphere's Replication server. Order requirement call will be conducted on Monday 8/11/08 for further detail. All resumes not in the TD template format will be rejected. Also when submitting your candidates to the MSP you will need to provide the following information: 1. If the candidate has previously worked with Teradata through the MSP. Provide dates and project the candidate worked on. 2. If the candidate has previous Teradata experience with other clients. Provide dates and the client name. If the candidate has NOT worked for TD through the MSP, or has not workerd for a TD client, please state in the submittal, no prior TD engagements. Communication skill, experience/skills not mentioned on the resumes, skills/experience highlighted, etc. Various Teradata clients that the contractor may have worked. If they have worked on other assignments at Teradata, provide their Engaging manager's name/partner's name and the name of Teradata's customer along with the dates. Teradata needs to port 200 DB2 tables to Teradata using Websphere Replication Server. The consultant must be able to setup Websphere Replication Server to connect to Teradata. Teradata will begin by putting together a requirements document that will define the specific tables that need to be ported from DB2 to Teradata. This document will define the tables, columns and data types from DB2 and the Teradata DDL that will define the table, column and data type information in the Teradata Staging area. There is no transformation required in the Replication Server load, this is a straight port to the Teradata Staging area. The loading of the data is a one-time load into a Teradata Staging area, but we want to develop the scripts to allow for re-use incase we need to load the data again or provide for an incremental load. Once the data is loaded into Teradata we will assist in defining the transformation requirements and development of the SQL/BTEQ scripts to load the data into there Teradata production area. The consultant must have very good verbal and written communication skills, be able to setup Websphere Replication Server and create the scripts to port the data into the Teradata Staging area, and have good Teradata SQL capabilities. It is possible to use two different candidates, one to port the data to Teradata Staging and a different consultant to handle the SQL/BTEQ transformation once it is loaded into the Teradata Staging area. The consultant is required to be on-site in Salt Lake City, UT Mon-Thurs, 10 hours a day (40 hour work week). The customer is paying expense.
