Analyze business and systems processes. Integrate processes and systems into
existing applications. Utilize technical skills to design, develop and test
technical solutions to business problems. Provide senior analytical and
problem solving skills to address and resolve issues, assess possible
systems impacts, and recommend technical solutions.
Understand end-to-end project life-cycle phases (SDLC) to support
requirements analysis, detail design, software development, testing,
production deployment, warranty support and produce artifacts in all these
phases as necessary. Create functional and technical specifications. Ensure
that all deliverables meet the established coding and unit testing
standards. Maintain a working knowledge of the various technical aspects of
the development environment (e.g. build scripts, deployment scripts,
configuration management scripts). Apply object-oriented methodologies and
appropriate programming practices, translate technical specifications into
programmed application modules
Collaborate with Tech Lead/Project Manager/ Application
Architect and staff to deliver project deliverable.
Requires three (3) years of progressive relevant
experience. The three years of experience must have included experience
across full life cycle application, systems development and programming
experience using J2EE development, Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Web
Services, Weblogic, Webmethods, ANT scripts, Tomcat, Apache, Unix, Shell
scripting, Design Patterns, SQL, Clearcase, ClearQuest, Sybase, DB2.

Test Engineer
Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, test
coverage, manual/automated test execution, and reporting status consistently
to ensure that software and systems meet minimum company standards and
defined end-user (functional) and system (non-functional) requirements. Use
knowledge of business processes and quality assurance on testing across
entire product life cycle stages from requirements to implementation.
Conduct reviews of test plan, test cases, and prepare test results. Develop
and execute test cases and test scripts. Maintain requirements traceability
matrix and conduct necessary reviews to ensure test cases appropriately
translate and map to requirements. Perform black box, functional, GUI,
performance, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing for Web
(n-Tier) and Client/Server applications. Assist business users to perform
User Acceptance Testing. Perform Back-End and ETL testing. Require writing
SQL scripts. Prepare and maintain Bu!
siness rules (BRS). Create test data and expected results for test scenarios
using SQL and interact with project team members to ensure the data is
available for testing. Track and report to Test Lead and Project Manager the
progress of the project during the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Manage risk and ensure the successful completion of testing of Application
Under Test (AUT). Track and report defects. Validate data quality of complex
financial systems and highly integrated software systems that are internally
developed in a fast-paced development environment.
Requires three (3) years of experience in Information
Technology. The experience must have included testing, business/systems
analysis, and programming; using tools such as: Rational Test Manager, Clear
Quest, DOORS, Rational SODA, Rational Robot, Rational Manual Test, RapidSQL,
Hummingbird, DB2 Command Center and ClearCase; SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2 and
Sybase, SDLC implementation and UNIX shell scripting.

as a link between the business user and members of the technical support
team.

including experience with use cases, requirements; analysis and experience
with project/product lifecycle.
