This position requires strong experience and expert-level skills with PHP,
XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and familiarity with Database systems such as MySQL
Overall experience developing on the *Linux Apache MySQL PHP
(LAMP)*platform and experience with Open Source software
Understanding of a wide range of Web development technologies and frameworks
including: MVC, AJAX, JavaScript Frameworks such as *jQuery *and PHP
Frameworks such as *Zend and Symfony.*
Experience in CMS or eCommerce platforms is a plus
Education: College degree in a related field and 3-5 years industry
experience as a Developer/Engineer
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with Design and User Experience team members to help
gather requirements and formulate the system design.
- Develop innovative solutions for clients using Web 2.0 technologies and
best practices.
- Follow and track changes in the technology landscape.
- Contribute to methodology/process and knowledge repository, wikis,
blogs, etc.
