Responsibilities include: S/He will be responsible for mentoring/ teaching. NET related technologies to other developers, and acting as a .NET developer on various financial services oriented, intranet-based, software initiatives. These applications include defining/building a robust .NET infrastructure, development of internal web-based application, and integrating .NET with other technologies such as an Oracle Database. The qualified candidate will hold a BA/BS in Computer science/Business or related area, and: - 3 – 5 Years Development Microsoft Visual Studio (2005 and higher), C# against the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, both ASP.NET and WinForms - Development against the 3.0, and 3.5 frameworks a strong plus - 5 Years Development using Microsoft SQL Server - Strong SQL Query and Stored Procedure Development, Optimization - Able to work independently & as part of a team - Take direction on projects, and formulate a solution - Ability to share development ideas and methods to improve development efficiency, scalability and maintainability - Very strong working knowledge of the following technologies: ASP.NET, C#, VB.net, MS SQL server, HTML, XML, and other related technologies. - The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of standard design methodologies and principles. - Possess a strong business perspective and knowledge of leading practices in the effective development and implementation of information technology, - The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks - Strong business and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills They are moving quickly into standardizing on the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) so this background would be a plus.
