Note :ONLY LOCAL TO MA CAN APPLY FOR THIS POSITION It requires In Person Interview Process: Phone followed by in-person Requirement Details Title :* Sr UNIX admin with AIX and Solaris * *Duration: 6 months* *Location MA* *Sr Unix admin with AIX and Solaris background* Position Summary The Senior UNIX Administrator is responsible for all day-to-day support and maintenance of the UNIX environment within the Bank. Senior Unix responsibilities extend to both the Bank's home office facility in downtown Boston as well as the Bank's dedicated disaster recovery facility located in Westborough Massachusetts. Travel between these two facilities is frequently required as well as ability to participate in a 7 x 24 support schedule is also required. The Senior UNIX Administrator is responsible for all aspects of UNIX administration including, but not limited to monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing software issues at the O/S level on servers running Solaris and AIX. Knowledge/Skills * Experience with Solaris 8, 9, 10 and AIX 5.2 is required * Shell scripting knowledge is required * Hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Cluster Server and Volume Replicator is required. * Experience with Open Source tools (Apache, Tomcat, OpenSSH, OpenSSL, BIND and Samba is required. * Network/ IT related certification(s) preferred. * Practical systems and network troubleshooting skills experience in LAN and WAN. * Network Protocol knowledge of TCP/IP. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
