*Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: $75-80/HR all inclusive* * * * US CITIZENS/GREENCARD HOLDERS/ EAD ONLY* *Primary Skills:* HDS Platforms including Hitachi Universal Storage platform USPV or USP, Data Migration, Tiered storage planning & design capabilities, storage provisioning, SAN experience doing a tech refresh from 9980's to USP and USP-V's *Secondary Skills:* host based & virtual migrations, storage infrastructure maintenance, Disaster recovery *Storage Platform USPV or USP* a. Tiered Storage Planning & Design capabilities b. Data Migration c. Storage Provisioning (tuning & load balancing) 2. Must have SAN experience doing a tech refresh from 9980's to USP and USP-V's. The will be doing host based and Virtualized migrations -- need someone that is strong in migrations in a virtualized environment. 3. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with internal best practices. 4. Maintaining multi-tiered storage infrastructure leveraging HDS hardware and software 5. Participate in the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans. 6. Participate in the design and operational execution of the customer's storage disaster recovery process. 7. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 8. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 9. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project *Overview:* Consultant will be responsible for storage provisioning, storage network management (SAN and NAS), and backups & documentation for many diverse application systems and operating systems. Consultant will design and planning, along with the hands on migration in the following technical areas. Will be responsible for helping the customer design, plan and execute migration services. Also will be responsible for daily storage administration, best practices, reporting and monitoring of their equipment. ******Sr. Admins will be deployed during the days to work with customers and get procedures and planning done.
