Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Architect (Business Objects)
Duration: 3-4+ months
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities:
This hands-on position provides technical leadership and
architecture direction for business intelligence and analytics.
The Architect serves as BI expert, and develops and manages
BI products and solutions.
The BI Architect is responsible for developing and delivering
BI solutions for the enterprise.
Experience and Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on development experience in one of the
following BI tools: Business Objects, SAS BI, MS Reporting and Analysis
services, or equivalent
10+ years of data warehouse development experience in an
Architect or Senior Developer capacity
Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and
guide junior team members
Ability to relate to BI industry best practices and past
experience in BI tool evaluation, selection and implementation
Ability to work with OLAP technologies like SQL Analysis
services or Essbase Should have understanding of integrating BI tools to
portal technologies like IBM Websphere, BEA or SharePoint portal
Should have expert understanding of architecting enterprise
BI capabilities
Ability to interact with business customers and educate the
enterprise on the value of BI and analytics
Hands-on implementation experience with Business Objects is a
MUST
Experience of developing applications using .Net/C#/Java a
big plus!
