Location: San Francisco, CA Start: Immediate Job Description: As a Sr. Data Modeler, Candidate will be responsible for the analysis and design of data models at the conceptual, logical and physical levels, which support to, ODS Required Skill Set: 1. Leverages prior health care payer modeling experience to create, refine or extend the enterprise data model within the scope of the business requirements. 2. Works with the other data modelers, and business and data analysts to create logical data models that extend and attribute the conceptual models to an appropriate level of detail, along with accompanying documentation in conformance with the applicable data standards. 3. Maintains data in the metadata repository (data dictionary) 4. Assists in mapping data attributes from sources to targets 5. Assists in defining required data transformations and business rules, with appropriate review and acceptance by ETL designers 6. Assists in validating and documenting source system data issues 7. Supports triage of data defects found during test cycles 8. Tool expertise required with ERwin modeling tool 9. Excellent human relations, interpersonal and communication skills 10.
