*Title : QA Tester Location : Helena, Montana Length : 3+ Months * ***Need LOCAL TO MONTANA or near by that location *** *Job Description:* Write a comprehensive master test plan from the Functional Specification Document, Business Requirements Document, and Technical Design Document. Understand and analyze business requirements for testability and completeness. Decompose requirements into Test Design, test plan, cases and scripts, and enter into testing tools and tracking tools. Create project plans for test planning and execution Review test cases and other testing artifacts created by other team members for completeness and accuracy. Define Test data strategy and create complex, reusable test data sets. Participate in functional, regression, end-to-end, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure that requirements are met. Troubleshoot defects or environment issues and facilitate remediation Precisely and thoroughly document any defects found through testing, in TRAC and work with developers to resolve them. Develop reports of testing and testing results, progress, etc. Communicate with project manager(s) for assigned project on testing status, issues, risks, etc. through a biweekly status report Drive test deliverables on a project basis being responsive to schedule and quality requirements. Implement test (verification and validation) practices, standards, and processes and document the testing. Ensure that team members are trained in the skills and tools of system test, project management, and other required competencies of the Test Plan. Partner with client groups to ensure that the testing strategy is understood, in use, that system test prerequisites are completed, and that system test outputs are analyzed. Partner with user group to ensure that the testing strategy is understood, in use, that user acceptance testing prerequisites are completed, and that user acceptance testing output are as expected.
