*Title:* QA Manager – Performance

*Location: *Palo Alto, CA**

*Duration:* 6 mths



*Overview*
Our small, agile QA team is a vital part of our flat organization. This team
is unrelenting about every part of a spectacular user experience. You'll be
creating social networks, using social networks, and exploring every nook
and cranny of improvements and new features that you make to the social
networks at the Client’s place

*Responsibilities*
You will manage a team that tests/analyzes the performance and scalability
of the Ning Application and Platform.

·  Develop infrastructure for automated performance tests and analysis.

·  Work with existing team to build a comprehensive suite of tests for
tracking performance and scalability of Ning Application and Platform.

·  Work with development team to fix performance regression and improve
performance.

·  Schedule utilization of testing labs and ensure test environments support
performance requirements.

·  Review test estimates and deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and
effectiveness.

·  Structure, organize, and recruit resources needed to ensure that
objectives can be met.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

·  5+ years experience in performance engineering.

·  3+ years experience in software QA.

·  3+ years of management experience.

·  Strong technical skills in application design and system architecture.

·  Strong experience in workload automation and knowledge of automation
framework.

·  Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·  Demonstrated strong leadership skills.

·  Experience with automated testing tools: Silk Performer, Load Runner, Win
Runner, Rational Robot, etc.

·  Experience in implementing highly structured testing processes (strong
knowledge of testing concepts, practices, and procedures) and automation
labs.

·  Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

·  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong
organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

·  Experience working with cross-functional teams.

·  Excellent team-building skills.
