Here is an update on the new OLAP/ESSBASE position - after the first interview - the manager has informed us they need to be experts with Web Analysis as well - see her notes below - rate is open at this time. I will have the candidates tested on OLAP/ESSBASE/WEB ANALYSIS so please inform this to expect this once I call them.
Position: Sr OLAP/Essbase/Web Analysis Location: Plano, TX Rate: open Manager needs a very Sr level OLAP/Essbase Developer/Architect level consultant. * 10+ years of OLAP * 7-10 years with Essbase - with expertise in Web Analysis (very important!!) * 10-15+ years IT Essbase/Hyperion Planning developer * Essbase System 11 (or at least System 9) Integration services/Shared services/ Essbase Studio * API/MXL/ Essbase scripts * Hyperion Smartview report design * Hyperion Planning administration/configuration, webforms design * basic SQL skills - Create/modify cube structure (outline, scripts, DLR etc..), create process to load dimensions and measures (Integration services +creation of MXL/API scripts for automation) * Create/modify reports in Smartview. * Configure/perform administrative tasks in Hyperion Planning. Create/Modify Webforms. * Very skilled at Dimensional "D" Cube * Very skilled at UI Flow Design Notes from Interview: - Along with the above information, candidates will need to be experts with Web Analysis. - Need to be able to understand requirements for reporting needs; and build reports using Web Analysis - Build and customize reports using Web Analysis - Experts in Essbase, have also gone through implementations & upgrades - Per Mgr, the current team members aren't strong enough with Web Analysis; Candidates must be solid with Web Analysis - Per Mgr; this is mostly front end work, she has strong enough people on the backend - ONLY PEOPLE THAT ARE EXPERTS ON THE FRONT END.
