*Duration: 6+ Month* *Rate: $40/hr* *Primary Skills:* *Candidates MUST HAVE: Server build exp; experience in Windows 2003; Experience building virtual machines in an ESX environment.* * * *Clustering experience is a MUST* *Candidates MUST HAVE: Server build exp; experience in Windows 2003; Experience building virtual machines in an ESX environment.* *Responsibilities:* Responsible for *basic run the engine tasks, complex software installations, upgrades and license verifications, fault detection, escalation and repair, assisting developers with code roll-out and operational troubleshooting, identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency, planning and implementing single system installations, and overall system availability.* Compliance with all company *security policies and procedures.* Provides a stable and efficient system. *Ensures the availability, capacity and performance of the system*. Promotes best practices by sharing lessons-learned and improvement suggestions with management, technology related focus groups, and peer groups. Able to focus on several tasks simultaneously and still be able to take on last minute additions as necessary. Demonstrates project prioritization skills. Interacts daily with end users at all levels.
