these skills. They need some javascript and css with loadrunner.
Description
Experienced Software Test Engineer for Web and embedded applications
testing. He/She will also be responsible for driving automated testing
tools, including developing scripts, executing tests with emphasis on
performance Testing and hardware configuration to work on Testing complex
applications.
Skill Sets required for the position:
Experience in developing test plans, Test strategies
Good understanding of Network communication protocols
Experience writing test cases, creating bug reports, executing and tracking
testing assignments
Experience in data validation and cross-system testing
Good communication skills - specifically, the ability to concisely convey
coverage, status, and remaining work.
Demonstrated ability to run, comprehend, and accurately describe the results
of tests.
Excellent Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Experience with defect tracking systems will be required
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in Mathematics, CS, CE, EE or equivalent experience (4+
years)
- Test Automation experience - Visual Test, Scripting, Loadrunner, QTP or
other market leading automation tools
- 2 years Experience with Functional and Performance testing of Web
application is required. Experience using tools like Neoload and Loadrunner
is plus
- Good Experience in Java, Flash, XML, CSS, RSS and Flex
- Experience working with web user interfaces like HTML, CSS, XML,
JavaScript
-Experience with FTP, e-mail, telnet and Unix shell scripts,
- Hands on experience with Land hardware/software administration, design,
installation and configuration
- Good understanding and hands on working knowledge with databases like
MySQL, and Oracle
- Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, IIS.
- Experience or knowledge of Agile and Iterative Development models
- Understanding of Subversion(SVN), Content Delivery Networks (CDN) AND
Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SQS)
- Applications (MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Drive Imaging Software, Disk
Partitioning Software)
- Hardware/OS administration/setup
