Title: Software Engineer - J2EE, Oracle, SQL Loader
Location: Chicago, IL{locals}
Contract Length: 3 Months

Summary:
Partner with systems analysts, Application Architect and team members to
understand system requirements. Involved in the full systems life cycle and
may be responsible for all or part of developing, testing, implementing and
supporting applications software that is delivered on time, within approved
budget and in line with business objectives. Strong team oriented
interpersonal, communication skills and should be pro-active, self-motivated
with problem solving and analytical skills.
Develop scripts to automate build & deployment process using BCBSA
standards.
Required Experience:
* Develops code artifacts - modules, classes, methods, scripts, etc.
-along with corresponding unit test artifacts
* Develop highly scalable, transactional and reusable components using
J2EE technologies.
* Follow good documentation practices including producing and managing
formal artifacts as well as writing clean, readable, and standards-compliant
code and unit tests.
* Understand user issues, identify and drive to resolution,
communicate continuously and clearly.
* Strong web services development experience and in-depth knowledge of
consuming, publishing Top-down/Bottom-up/Contract first services with
JAX-RPC or JAX-WS.
Must Have:
* Strong experience in Loading & extracting data using oracle sql
loader, BMC Control-M and understand the challenges and have in-depth
knowledge on how to overcome.
* Hand on experience and understanding of database and performance
impacts.
