What I need is essentially a Reports Developer who is also comfortable working directly with non-technical business customers to gather business requirements, interpret customer needs into technical requirements, work with customers for validation, and solve business problems. Very strong skills in Business Objects (including universe design, Crystal, and Webi) are a must; an ideal candidate also has some experience in Xcelsius. The candidate also needs to have some experience and understanding of SAS, primarily from a data manipulation standpoint; SAS will not be used in this role for statistical analysis."
