Role: QA analyst Must be local to CA Duration: 6 months Location: San Francisco, CA Rate: $35/hr on C2C Position Description: Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years related experience including exposure to testing automation tools Description: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalence of 4+ years of IT work experience - 3+ years QA experience in manual and/or automated testing - Requires strong level of detail, problem solving and organization skills - IT background and understanding of business and financial applications is desirable - Experience with Web, Client Server and Mainframe applications is a plus - Knowledge of hardware mechanical devices is a plus - Possesses a desire to gain experience in all levels of QA activities throughout the software development life cycle: o Create decision tables for identification of test scenarios o Write test plans, test scripts and test cases o Perform manual and automated testing o Perform validation and analysis o Track defects for problem resolution This position will be working with other QA members responsible for testing all aspects of an ATM service cycle, from customer transactions to ATM device and hardware troubleshooting. When new business requirements are mandated, the QA member will work in collaboration with team leads to translate the requirements and design specifications into test cases for testing. The QA member is required to execute the test case suites, perform detailed validation and analysis, and report and document defects for tracking and resolution. Good written and verbal communication skill is a must.
