*Job Type: Fulltime* *Visa: Any resident (preferable Indian origins)* Exp: 5-10+ years *Job Description* - Responsible for building and day to day management and support of Hadoop clusters. - Ensure Big Data environment is secure, healthy, backed up, and ready for all contingencies - Manage user and group access to various Big Data resources - Monitor and troubleshoot Big Data clusters using a variety of open source and proprietary toolsets - Evaluate and propose new tools and technologies to meet the needs of the organization - Document configs and upgrade procedures *Technology* - 5+ years of experience on unix administration on linux-based systems - Strong experience as Hadoop Admin in Cloudera based clusters. Cloudera certification strongly desired. - Experience installing, configuring, monitoring, and administering large Hadoop clusters - Experience on administration of HDFS, HIVE and HA MR2 / YARN. - Experience or a strong understanding of Hadoop architecture Oozie, HBase, Hue, Flume and ZooKeeper - Strong knowledge of Linux, OS level file system and network troubleshooting - BS/MS - Computer or relevant engineering discipline strongly desired *Other Skills* - Good written communication skills (spec documentation, status updates, etc) - Good verbal communication skills.
