3-5 years experience working as an Application Developer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related
field or the foreign equivalent.
*Technologies:*
§ EMC's InputAccel 5.3\6x or similar Document Capture product
§ EMC's Dispatcher 5.3\6x or similar Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
product
§ Development in .Net Framework (2.0, 3.5) with C# and/or or VB.Net.
§ Visual Basic 6 and Office VBA-Visual Basic for Applications and/or
converting from these languages to .Net
§ VBS Scripting
§ RDBMS Concepts, SQL Server --T-SQL including queries and stored
procedures
§ Silas Reveille Monitoring Software
§ Imaging background, or similar tools (ie, Kofax)
§ Familiarity with Microsoft server environment
§ Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment.
§ Experience working in a large corporation on complex/challenging systems
§ Exposure to development in more than one programming language and a good
understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies.
§ Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken
forms).
*Responsibilities:*
§ Candidate will develop, test and implement software application code for
Image Capture systems and develop automation processes.
§ Candidate requires the ability to adapt to changes quickly, communicate
with users and managers, and solve problems quickly
§ Candidate will support various Non-Prod Environments for the Image
Capture Systems
§ Candidate will be required to troubleshoot production issues and
develop/test resolutions using InputAccel, Microsoft VBA, SQL, and
Microsoft .NET frameworks. Note: a separate team handles production support
responsibilities.
