Job Title: Sr. Project Manager with *HL7 AND Epic experience* Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6-12 Months
*MUST HAVE:Experience with Epic Resolute AND HL7* Description The position applies IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate an IT solution for business problems. Sr. PM will work with business clients utilizing EPIC Resolute, and Bridges for Integration. The PM we are looking for needs to be aware of the HL7 standards and their impacts on integration and the overall project CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with multiple functional areas and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables. Supervise and motivate cross-functional project team of business analysts, developers, security administrators and validation analysts. Manage system on-going support activities and associated resources. Participate on process/application steering committee representing IT. Assess the degree to which changes to scope; issues and risks will affect projects working with department, management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. Develop and execute a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders. Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Department and Division management. Influence or have final decision authority for project level, budget and activities. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Manage annual operating budget of $0.5MM and incremental yearly project funding. Manages 0-10 indirect staff which consists of contract business system analysts, project managers and development team. Skills/Experience Requirements Basic Qualifications Strong Project Management experience required Business and process experience desired Can explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences in a persuasive and convincing manner. Broad and deep IT knowledge coupled with equivalent knowledge of the processes and activities of the business Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline Preferred Qualifications Experience Epic Resolute (Certification Preferred) Experience with Epic Bridges Understanding of HL7 and its impact on Technology IT experience Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree At least 8 yrs experience in project management, business information systems or business systems analysis.
