*Rate Range $55 /hr*



*Required Skills:*

·         Strong operational experience with NoSQL Data Modeling.

·         Strong experience working with large distributed database systems
with focus on performance & tuning.

·         Experience with MongoDB scaling across data centers and/or
in-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets and
sharding.

·         Understanding of concepts such as Aggregate and Map Reduce.

·         Ability with creating and managing scripts for MongoDB.

·         Experience with indexing on MongoDB and MongoDB C# Driver.

·         Understanding of mapping between MongoDB and .NET models.

·         Understanding of MongoDB configuration.

·         Create databases from the ground up. Determine business
requirements, create logical models, build physical models, and plan system
architecture.

·         Design and implement complex data models.

·         Work with software engineers to ensure the overall application
design is optimal.

·         Conduct design and code walkthroughs, peer reviews, and produce
technical documentation.

·         Design, implement and operate database systems for performance
and reliability.

·         Design and implement measurement systems to assess service
delivery and key performance indicators of critical applications.

·         Build database tools and scripts that enable automation of tasks.

·         Determine/investigate data storage needs NO-SQL, Big Data, etc.

·         Create ETL scripts to load data between systems.

·         Administer production and development databases, ensuring maximum
availability.

·         Design reporting databases/systems for both transactional and
analytical data uses.

·         manage data archiving and retrieval for reporting and analytics
purposes.

·         This role may entail after-hours support on an on-call basis.



*Basic Qualifications:*

·         8+ years of experience in technical projects with a lead
responsibility for database components.

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area; equivalent
work experience will be considered.

·         This role requires a high level of demonstrated, hands-on
proficiency in the following core technologies:

·         “NoSQL” and traditional SQL database systems including:

o    MongoDB

o    MySQL

o    Oracle

o    UNIX/Linux platforms (Ubuntu)



*Additional Qualifications*

·         Proficiency in data integration and data quality development,
standards, concepts, and platforms.

·         Understanding of code promotion, version control, and QA
procedures.

·         Strong database troubleshooting and problem solving skills are
required.

·         Experience implementing enterprise database High Availability
solutions.

·         Experience implementing enterprise database Disaster Recovery
solutions.

·         Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery concepts and
practices.

·         Solid written and verbal communication skills.

·         Strong organizational and time management skills, with a
demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

·         Prepare to support in Production environment, including scripts
for monitoring etc.

·         Create/Refine the OSG to make sure it has enough level of detail

·         Plan and manage capacity, plan for additional storage/vm’s

·         Monitor and fix any issues with the database

·         Support 24x7 in production environment

·         Backup/restore of the database

·         Tuning & Optimization

·         Best practices from design (modeling, configuration) and
management perspectives
