The role is 65% Solaris and 35% Linux.* · Network, server and application monitoring for PSEG hosted infrastructure and applications; · Support and response including assessment, analysis, escalation and resolution of system problems or malfunctions; · Provide critical support role in meeting the PSEG Nuclear custom outage service level agreement for resolving outage related IT problems in an average of 30 minutes or less; · Participate in the coordination of incident response & problem resolution with responsible IT Operations associates and IT vendors as necessary; · Document problems and their resolution in the PSEG ITSM system’s incident and problem records · CompuCom will follow all PSEG procedures (e.g. Change Management). · Replacing field replaceable units (i.e., parts mailed by Sun/Oracle for us to install) are in scope; · Support our SUN Solaris server infrastructure; · CompuCom staff will use PSEG’s Tools; Required Skill Set for CompuCom Personnel: UNIX: · Experience as a Linux Administrator with emphasis on configuring and building Linux systems and clusters. · Experience working with SAN attached servers · Experience as a Sun Solaris administration in a clustered server environment · Experience with UNIX Sun Solaris 8, 9, and 10. · Veritas Volume Manager and Sun Cluster software · Sun virtualization technologies, i.e., Ldoms, Zones, etc.; · Familiarity with monitoring and backup tools such as Tivoli Storage Manager and EMC Ionix; · Red Hat Linux certification preferred · ITIL Foundations certification preferred · 3 to 7 years’ experience is required *Thanks and Regards* *Zulfiqar Ahmed* *Sage Group Consulting, Inc* W:+ 732 767 0010 X 704 | Direct: 732 851 1637 |Email: [email protected] YM: ahmed_maccadin | Gtalk: ahmed.maccadin LinkedIn: in.linkedin.com/pub/ahmed-zulfiqar/21/950/44b/ Website: www.sageci.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
