Scintel is looking for a Lead Solutions Architect with a proven track record
on delivering results, and has exceptional team skills both in leading and
participating.
*Job Duties & Responsibilities:*
The candidate must have a proven track record on delivering positive
results, leadership skills, problem-solving skills and an attitude of doing
what it takes to complete the job. Self-directed, attention to details, and
the ability to capture, organize and analyze information Demonstrated
mastery of application development utilizing multiple languages and
development environments, to follow standards and best practices. Capable
and willing to mentor team members in application design During design,
break down the complex application to smaller manageable pieces, Understand
the functions of each component, Understand the interactions and
dependencies between component and to communicate all of the above to the
developers Able to Work with distributed teams (on shore and off) Dictate
various standards, including coding standards, tools, platforms to the
developers Insure that architecture and infrastructure decisions are driven
by business requirements Able to articulate and communicate the technology
requirements to both the Business and the developers. Able to design
architectures that are flexible and adaptable to meet new business
challenges. Identifies, enhances, and promotes the use of common enterprise
components and frameworks across all development teams. Will be responsible
for the full life cycle of the project scoping, analysis, development,
implementation, and performance Must be able to code certain aspects of the
system, if required
*Key skills & experience required:*
Must have at least a BS/CS degree in the software engineering discipline 12+
years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a
concentration on the analysis, modeling/prototyping, and design,
development, and implementation of large scale mission critical near and
real-time system programs. Experience designing and modeling complex
commercial real-time and high availability systems. Experience architecting
and developing solutions using : J2EE, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB),
Servlets, Struts, JSP, JSTL and Custom tags, JDBC, Web Hosting expertise,
WebLogic, Java Beans, XML, XSL, Swing, JMS, JavaScript, HTML, Style Sheets,
SQL, Ant, MVC architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, LINUX and Unix
Shell scripting, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Unified Modeling
Language (UML), i.e., RUP. Experience in SOA Integration, ESB,
Representational State Transfer (REST) architecture, Adobe FLEX is a plus.
Experience and expert knowledge in these technologies preferred: Ajax,
System Software and Computer Hardware, Oracle 9i, Weblogic 10.3, Eclipse,
JMeter, JNI and Web services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent knowledge of
distributed computing technologies in the Telecom/Wireless space Strong
customer focus and service oriented individual Knowledge and expertise of
best-in-class SDLC practices Strong Analytical skills and ability to convey
complex information in a clear and concise manner Spanish Speaking a plus.
