Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing of changes based on State/Federal mandates or requests from the OMH State Operations Finance Group. - Support billing of Medicare, Medicaid, Third Party Health Insurance (TPHI), & individuals (private parties). Monitor batch production jobs, analyze results, and address any aborts/system failures as needed. - Prepare database scripts for the purpose of creating/modifying Oracle tables, packages, stored procedures, indexes, constraints, triggers, etc. - Maintain/support multiple batch based data feeds/exchanges between Oracle and IDMS environments. - Work with members of the Billing unit, DBA unit, and the office for Information Technology Services to migrate batch and online application changes to the QA and Production platforms following standard migration procedures. - Work with business owners, users, and technical support staff to identify changes that are needed and the solution for implementing them. - Respond to HP Service Center Help Desk calls assigned to Billing group. *PART A: The ONE MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:* *Expert Level * *You must be an Expert Technical Architect / IBM COBOL, JCL with documented employment experience of 7+ years (84+ months).* - You must have technical experience centered around a technology, technologies, or a portfolio of applications. Designing and implementing information technology. *PART B: Requested Desirable Qualifications: *The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 4 of numbers 1 through 8. 1. 84 months Demonstrated experience using IBM COBOL & JCL. Utilizing utilities such as IDCAMS, IDGENER, IEFBR14, SORT, etc. 2. 84 months Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining CA-IDMS applications in an IBM z/OS environment using tools such as MAPC, ADSC, DMLO, & IDD. 3. 84 months Demonstrated experience with Oracle PL SQL - coding things such as stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc. 4. 84 months Demonstrated experience with mainframe batch systems billing Medicare & Medicaid, for services rendered. 5. 84 months Experience working with PHI in a complex health related organization and a demonstrable understanding of HIPAA. 6. 60 months Demonstrated experience using TOAD to query, update, extract and/or load data in an Oracle environment. 7. 60 months Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining batch jobs in a GECS environment. 8. 60 months Demonstrated experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), as it pertains to Health Insurance transactions such as the 837& 835.
