*DURATION: 2 years* Candidates need to have the ability to effectively articulate solution architectures they have worked on. the project is looking for people that have designed and led definition of architecture solutions, not folks that just happened to work on those applications. They need to be also knowledgeable around trends in the market place related to MS .Net technologies and SOA architectures and need to have a point of view on the trends. Here is what we would like to add to the requirements that are posted – •Ability to effectively articulate and explain technical architecture and solutions •Should have led design sessions with the client, have solid communication skills •Knowledgeable around latest trends in .Net and SOA architectures RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing secure, reliable, scalable, performance-driven solutions for high-throughput, database-driven software applications. -Designing customer-driven software solutions with re-use, security, extensibility, and scalability in mind. -Providing accurate estimates for development of features and functionality. -Presenting design and functionality based on supplied functional and technical specification or requirements. -Conceptualizing, designing, and documenting new architecture for existing applications, utilizing design patterns, and design techniques appropriately. -Creating web services and methods. REQUIRED SKILLS: -Worked as the Software Architect on large distributed systems or commercial products projects for a period not less than five (5) years. -Worked as the Software Architect, on large distributed systems or commercial products projects utilizing a .NET architecture for at least two (2) projects. -Experience with and knowledge of development in C#/C++ for a period not less than five (5) years. -Experience and knowledge of development of extensible Markup Language (XML)/extensible Style Language(XSL) for a period not less than five (5) years. -Experience and knowledge of Web Services for a period not less than three (3) years. -Experience with UML for a period not less than five (5) years. -Experience with agile product development process architecture, development, functional/design specifications generation, and unit testing for a period not less than three (3) years. -Baccalaureate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university. -Experience and knowledge of Document Image systems and Document Image system implementation for at least one (1) project. -Experience and knowledge of development of Microsoft (MS) .NET based applications that integrated with a mainframe-based system for two (2) projects or more. -Experience in troubleshooting multi-tier applications for not less than five (5) years. Experience must include all components of the infrastructure including Network (LAN/WAN), OS and applications tiers. Must be able to identify and resolve bottlenecks for application solutions with performance issues -Experience with Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) software development for 1 or more projects. -Experience with agile product development process architecture, development, functional/design specifications generation, and unit testing for a period of five (2) years or more.
