The role of the Salesforce.com Developer is to assist the Sales Team with
design, development, implementation, and administration of Salesforce.com
(SFDC). The SFDC Developer with work closely with Sales, Sales Operations,
Marketing, IT, and other various support departments to provide solutions
and assist with setting up business processes.



*About You:*

   - A creative and driven Salesforce.com developer

   - You are able to effectively partner with the business to help identify
   requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs-your collaboration,

*Responsibilities:*

   - Design, configure, and administration of SFDC including but not
   limited to, Apex code and supporting test classes, Custom Objects, Workflow
   Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, and Visual Force Pages.
   - Work with all departments to gather business requirements and help
   document, define, and develop solutions.
   - Assist with unit testing and developing test case scenarios.
   - Identify areas where standard SalesForce capabilities are not being
   utilized to their full potential.
   - Assist with the implementation of Applications that are connected to
   or interact with SFDC such as Single Sign On, Identity Provider setups, and
   web service calls.
   - Assist with SFDC Sandbox refreshes for several environments.
   - Provide regular progress reports to team management.



*Desired Skills and Experience*

*Requirements:*

   - 2+ years Force.com development experience, with a strong focus on Apex
   and Visualforce development
   - Bachelor’s Degree in business or computer related field, or equivalent
   work experience
   - Force.com Platform, Apex Language, Data Loader, Workflow & Approvals,
   Custom Reports, Dashboards, VisualForce Pages (component & controllers),
   Custom Objects & Tabs, Page Layouts
   - Experienced in rich front end web development utilizing HTML, AJAX,
   CSS, JavaScript, and XML
   - Salesforce.com and Force.com administration
   - Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development,
   configurations, testing and other implementation activities
   - Experience in delivering the full software development life cycle with
   the Force.com platform
   - Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
   - Salesforce.com Developer or Advanced Administrator Certification
   preferred
   - Solid knowledge of SQL.
   - Experience in designing & supporting enterprise Salesforce.com
   solutions
   - Help develop & maintain Saleforce.com solution roadmap
   - Experience using formal Software Development Life Cycle
   - Strong verbal & written communication skills
   - Effectively communicate & present solutions to Senior Leadership
   - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

   - ORM frameworks: Hibernate, Spring
   - Web Services: SOAP, REST, WSDL
   - XML: DTD, XML Schema, XSLT
   - RDBMS: Oracle / DB2
   - SCM: Subversion / RTC
   - ESB and/or Enterprise Application Integration
   - JMS, MQ and/or Message-oriented Middleware
   - Proven capabilities migrating legacy mainframe systems to SOA.

*Essential Functions*



   1. Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community
   and/or clients and recommends technical solutions.
   2. Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications
   by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for
   implementing technical solutions.
   3. Directs operations in executing production tasks according to a
   documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
   4. Produces detailed time line for each application release and
   implements effective project control by monitoring the progress of the
   software release and reporting the status.
   5. Directs and prioritizes the work load of subordinate personnel.
   6. Reviews all designs, code and unit test plans where applicable.
   7. Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution.
   8. Participates on all hardware and software evaluations and maintains
   vendor contracts.
   9. Represents the IT function at customer review meeting when
   appropriate.
   10. Directs education programs for her/his staff.
   11. Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and programming
   personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
   12. Performs salary administration and conducts interviews and makes
   recommendations for new hires, consultants and/or replacement personnel.
   13. Has deep rooted technical expertise in both legacy and distributed
   systems.
