*Position  :                               PeopleSoft Admin support*

*Location :                               Wilmington, MA*

*Duration :                               6 Months*





*Note:* This role does require PeopleSoft Admin support (i.e., psadmin;
data mover; config. manager; update manager; etc.) and Oracle experience.

Summary:

Responsible for defining specifications, implementing, testing, supporting
and documenting, Enterprise systems, with primary focus on Human Resources
applications. Guide and advise less experienced employees



Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with users and IT managers, where applicable, define
requirements, document specifications, implement, test, and support site
and corporate applications to meet the needs of the company globally.

• Participate as part of teams to define, design & implement, support and
test the solution through the system development lifecycle.

• Author, update or assist in the development of user training documentation

• Implement system in accordance to the defined project timelines.

• Participate, where required, in testing & validation of the application.

• Follow a common system development lifecycle (SDLC) used across IT.

• Ensure solutions are transitioned smoothly through the production
cut-over process.

• Lead training and / or ensure effective knowledge transfer to those
responsible for training use of the new solutions such that adoption and
value realization is optimized.

• Provide timely and effective level 3 support for application related
questions. Plan, fix & implement patch releases as required and governed.
Manage user expectations through timely communications.

• Participate in the development and communication of departmental systems,
SOPs, policies and procedures.

• Research and recommend tools and technologies for HR and other Enterprise
departments based on defined requirements.

• Become proficient in new tools and technologies (largely through
self-study) selected for implementation.

• Execute SOX controls as defined to maintain compliance.

• Articulate required technical steps to successfully implement new
technologies.

• Work across business and IT groups to implement and support applications.

• May train less experienced personnel in technical complexities of
assigned work.

• May oversee large, complex, important projects or more than one project,
including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and
accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

*• Education:* Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Computer
Science or related discipline.

*• Experience:* Minimum of 9 years related experience in IT, including 5+
years’ experience with PeopleSoft.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as
a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed
above.

• Directly related experience with PeopleSoft required.

• Demonstrated skills in a variety of technologies required, including
skill-up on new technologies within the past 2 years.

• Ability to self-direct required.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as
a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed
above.
