The Department of Transportation is seeking a consultation to assist on the
Project: Migration from IE 9 to IE 11.
The focus of this position will be fix any software application built by
ODOT which does not function properly in IE 11. Some will require recoding
in existing older technologies, some will require recoding in a more modern
technologies and some might require a rewrite from an older technology to a
new technology based on ODOTs standard technology architecture
Position will be responsible for code review , testing, logging defects,
developing a mitigation plan and performing the code changes.
Technologies involved:
Older Technologies: Classic ASP, JavaScript,
VBScript, HTML and use of IIS 6 to IIS7
New Technologies: ASP.Net, ExtJS, AJAX, HTML5, CSS,
JavaScript, C#, Log4net, Spring.net, MS Visual Studio
Databases used: Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL
The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and
assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.
Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production
support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of
skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by
the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect
and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that
design and code meets customer requirements.

Years of Relevant Experience: 10 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
with advanced study preferred

large complex systems.

•Demonstrated technical expertise integrating a variety of diverse
