Requires configuration of system components such as network, kernel parameters, filesystems, user configuration, and Virtual LUN configuration in a fast paced environment � Trouble shooting and resolution of installation issues- working with Network , Storage, DBA, Web Engineers, etc. to resolve system installation issues * CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS *o In-depth knowledge of Linux operating system functionality, kernel tunables, file systems, server hardware, and installation processes o Proficient VMWare ESX\Virtualization Technologies (ESX 5.0 or greater, Virtual Center, P2V tools) o Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, shell scripting, automation o Deep working knowledge of NFS and NAS storage systems o Exceptional Unix skills (command line & otherwise) required. o Strong team player o Must be able to install and support Linux Systems in Oracle and/or DB2 environment o Must be able to install and support Linux Systems in WebSphere and JBOSS environment o Candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
