*Interview mode: Phone then SkypeTools – CA ESP and Endevor (Mandatory)Job Description:*• Hands on experience in ESP Job Scheduling • The Production Integration or PI Analyst role is responsible for ensuring the following responsibilities are fulfilled: • Code Migration (Mainframe) - Moving code to production on the Mainframe. • Code Migration (Distributed) - Moving code to production servers • Code Migration (Informatica) - Informatica code is being promoted to production folders. The ESP Admin is responsible for performing proactive activities related to ESP Agent for z/OS: • Maintain ESP agents (Windows and Linux) • Mainframe adding/deleting of ESP agents • Keep the ESP Agent database up to date, continuously checking to make sure what is in the database is functioning in the mainframe and loaded onto the ESP server • Stay current on updates from CA; for example, updates to the ESP functionality (e.g., ESP; ESP agents) • Run audits and reports. • Maintain ESP, ESP agents, adding/deleting agents and staying current on CA updates • ESP monitoring Agents - Responsible for monitoring ESP agents: the ESP admin makes sure ESP agents are up and running and that no other agents were added in the past 24 hours. Individuals in either the Linux or Windows group could add an agent. However, without work by the ESP Admin adding an agent and confirming all is working well, the mainframe can’t respond back to an agent someone else adds. • This is a more reactive role (compared to another ESP Admin responsibility, ‘Maintain ESP agent on MF adding/deleting,’ which is a proactive role). This document describes actions the ESP Admin must perform when proper procedures around ESP agents are not followed (how things shouldn’t be done). • When a group needs an ESP Agent added, the ESP Admin opens a request to have it done and monitors the install, perusing the agntparm.txt file, making sure everything is correct. • Monthly Release Production Implementation • Support Production Control / Apps Support and Development Groups.
