*Job Title:* IT Risk Analyst *Location*: Houston, TX (Phone then F2F) *Duration*: 2015-09-07 to 2015-12-27 Must have IT Risk experience The purpose of this job is to provide support to the IT Risk Officer who will be conducting routine IT Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) including regular follow-up with risk liaisons and process owners. This involves assessing the adequacy of controls to mitigate inherent risk and effectively reduce the risk to a level acceptable to management. This position will also require the candidate to understand risk in order to assist in performing risk awareness training to employees/contractors based on gathering policies, standards and best practices in the industry. Previous training experience is a plus. Essential Duties: Capture the core responsibilities for the job. These are the non-negotiable aspects of work that must be accomplished to fulfill the job’s purpose. ? Monitor and track remediation efforts on issues by following up with senior management ? Assist with documentation of RCSA assessments ? Perform quality reviews of RCSA documentation ? Maintain audit and self-identified issues ? Compile metrics to report on RCSA status ? Update excel spreadsheets with macros and formulas to assist with reporting ? Issue remediation validation (testing) ? Other duties as assigned Education/Experience Requirements: Provide the minimum education and experience requirements for an incumbent to successfully perform this job. Do not include knowledge and/or experience that can reasonably be obtained through on the job training. ? A minimum of 3 years of prior IT risk experience 2-3 years of prior IT Compliance/IT Audit experience ? Proven ability to perform complex analysis of data to determine trends and potential audit issues ? Knowledge of IT General Controls ? Knowledge of industry standard best practices for audit controls ? Excellent communication and presentation skills ? Superior organizational and time management skills ? Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks based on business requirements ? Proficient with MS excel and PowerPoint ?
