*Remote position* *Network Analyst*
*5 Months Contract* *Position Overview* The Network Analyst role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including network design strategy, network engineering, implementation, migration planning, service design, proof of concept testing, optimization services, and customer training. The incumbent should be expert on hardcore networking technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, VPNs. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · -Design, plan & configure Firewall, Switching and Routing · -Maintain firewalls, switches, routers and VPN systems · -Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate network-related, network traffic, log files, host-based and automated network alerts. · -Investigate and resolve incidents · -Investigate and diagnose problems. Where applicable, identify short-term work-around solutions. · -Strong understanding of enterprise, network, system and applications issues. · -Manage core network equipment, upgrades, changes. · -Knowledge of technologies including: Cisco Nexus (2k, 5k, 7k), F5, JunOS, Netscreen. · -Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems · -Regularly interface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements · -Execute complex network changes and provide escalation coverage 24x7. *Other Abilities -* · -Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, managing projects · -Identifies, diagnoses and resolves network issues · -Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks · -Maintain all required incident databases. · -Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades and routine hardware configuration *SKILLS -* · Cisco · Juniper · Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco NX-OS · Juniper JunOS, Juniper Netscreen · Maintain firewalls, switches, routers and VPN systems *Certifications:* · CCNA, CCNP and JNCIA *Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements:* · 8+ years’ experience working with firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers and VPN products from leading vendors.
