*Position: Performance Test Engineer* *Location: Alpharetta, GA* *Duration: Contract* *Job Description:* - Experience writing and executing test scripts for load testing tool LoadRunner using multiple protocols like Web, Citrix etc - Experience using HP Sitescope,HP Diagnostics, Shunra NV (Using LR) - Experience using performance monitoring tools like NMon, Oracle AWR, JMX and profilers like VisualVM, and experience analyzing the output from those tools - Experience in identifying bottlenecks across various layers of application stacks (client, network, web services, database backend) - Experience diagnosing and solving complex technical issues - Knowledge of Application servers - Knowledge of databases and Apache HTTP Server setup and tuning - Knowledge of Application Performance Management tools like AppDynamics,DynaTrace - Good understanding of the network protocol stack, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS. - Work with existing project teams to ensure Performance engineering processes and standards are implemented - Understand the scope of the release and plan/prepare/design/validate performance tests to mimic the expected production environment - Work closely with the development, IT, QA teams to analyze the performance issues, diagnose, debug and resolve issues - Ensure execution of Test Plans (Performance Testing) and deliver highest quality software. - Design and develop performance test plans, test cases based upon requirements. - Participate and review application architecture, design and requirements documents from performance perspective and help with estimates, strategy etc. for other potential projects. *Praveen TiwariUnited Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
