*JOB SUMMARY*
*The Mobility / Wireless Network Engineer should have strong mobility and
wireless experience and strong routing / switching skills. The Mobility /
Wireless Network Engineer will consult with the end-client to plan, design,
implement, and maintain wireless LAN / WAN hardware and software using the
latest technology, including networks, routers, servers, and systems
hardware Assist in designing servers and networks. The Mobility / Wireless
Network Engineer will participate in various client projects intended to
continually improve / upgrade wireless infrastructures. The Mobility /
Wireless Network Engineer will understand the end-client infrastructures,
end-client needs and provide expertise and consulting on Cisco solutions.*
- *Wireless Network Deployments (Enterprise-Level Deployments)*
- *Wireless-Related Technical Issues – Identify / Troubleshoot Hardware
/ Software*
- *Assist on Cisco Solution Product Plans / Roadmaps, etc.*
- *Troubleshoot / Maintain / Upgrade / Provide Solution to Complex
Hardware / Software Issues*
- *Analyze End-Client Business Needs / Recommend Possible Solutions*
- *Assist with Project Management Activities During End-Client
Installations*
- *Provide Systems Administration / Training to End-Clients*
- *Perform Wireless Surveys / Document Survey Findings and Results*
- *Perform Problem / Issue Remediation*
- *Update the Engineering Manager and Project Manager on Scheduling /
Project Status*
- *Understand / Develop / Deliver Scope of Works – Hour and Cost
Estimates / Client Deliverables, etc.*
- *Develop / Deliver Professional Proposals / Design Documentation*
- *Determine Location of APs (Network Power / Cabling) / Relocate APs to
Retest (Based on Survey Results)*
- *Estimate the Total Number of APs Needed for Overall Coverage*
- *Document Findings / Record Locations and Log Signal Reading / Data
Rates Observed, for Future Reference*
- *Understand Wireless Project Requirements / Manage Wireless Deployment
Projects*
- *Locate / Read / Understand Blueprints / Floor Plans, etc.*
