My client is seeking for a System Administrator. This is a hybrid position where the candidate must have very good experience with Linux administration AND strong with Websphere administration. Mandatory MUST have Exp: * Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of installing, administering and maintaining *SuSe or RedHat* Linux servers. * Five years experience in a Web based environment, IBM Websphere * Install and administer various server applications such as application servers (WAS), portal (IBM Portal) and ID Management (TIM) * Experience in deploying web based application in a clustering environment * Experience with installing open source software on Linux systems, such as apache, heartbeat. * Experience in monitoring the performance of the server based hardware and software. Ability to generate reports and troubleshoot system performance * Create and follow through on change control for any modifications to the agency*s software or hardware infrastructure * Familiarity with HP servers. Ability to install Linux OS and updating all the firmware needed to bring the server up to spec.
