*Position: System Analyst* *Location: Herndon, VA* *Duration: Long Term Contract* *USC/GC ONLY* *Job Description:* *Description:* • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams. • Perform system analysis at various stages of the project and assure product quality • Define testable solution specifications • Perform impact analysis of the application and the downstream systems and complete necessary documentation. • Perform data analysis and document data flows and data mappings • Trace solutions specifications to business requirements • Contribute to requirements, design and, application test plan. Evaluate test results and triage the issues. • Play a lead role in steering the direction of the project. Assist in task identification, providing estimates and keeping project on track. *Skills needed*: • 8-10 years of related experience including 5 years of development or system testing experience • Good communication skills (oral and written) • Excellent analytical skills (ability to break down complex tasks and concepts into manageable pieces; ability to aggregate and structure singular tasks and patterns/themes into clear unifying concepts) • Hands-on experience in the SDLC including gathering requirements, root cause analysis and exposure to testing • Experience as system analysis/design with subject matter expert working with business and technology groups to meet the information needs of the stakeholders • Experience developing application requirements and maintaining requirements traceability matrix in DOORS • DOORS, Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM), ETL, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, ER Studio, and XMLSpy • Mortgage industry with focus on loan acquisition experience is preferred. • Experience with CLM COTS products is a plus *Praveen TiwariUnited Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
