*Notes From Hiring Manager:*
*We have 2 cubes with about 180 measures….most likely will add another 1-3
cubes*
*Our team did not find strong Dynamic Cube experience in any of the
resources presented that made them want to move to the next step.*
*The key questions would be, “have you built a dynamic cube?” and if so,
“how many measures were in the cube?” *
*Additionally if they have built a cube, how did they tune it? Those are a
few key questions from my team. *
*Having “worked” with dynamic cubes by building a report off of a cube is
different than deep working knowledge of the cubes* themselves.
*BI DEVELOPER*
*-Must have expertise in MDX functions and language, preferably in a Cognos
environment. *
*-Must have used Cognos versions 8 or preferably 10 for more than 5 years
combined. DMR and Virtual Cube experience a plus. *
*-Prior Retail Data warehousing experience is also a plus.*
*-*Must be talented in advanced prompting and familiar with the Cognos 10
API prompt functionality and / or using JavaScript for prompting.
*-*Must be proficient in very complex reporting techniques and designs.
Framework Modeling and/or Cube Designer experience a plus.
*-*Must be able to work on-site in our Pittsburgh Location. Must be a
motivated individual and be able to take direction from peers and get the
job done.
