Job Title *Business Systems Analysis* Location * MA-Massachusetts/Boston* Duration 6 *Months / contract* *LOOKING SOME ONE WHO CAN DO IN PERSON* *PROJECT-SPECIFIC DETAIL* The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working closely with partners within the business, and IT stakeholder teams to understand the strategic direction and tactical needs then translate those needs into solutions. This position will then take a lead role to identify the appropriate solution, and then work within the teams to deliver those capabilities throughout the application life-cycle. *Key responsibilities include:* • Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Operations Teams, Developers, and Software Quality Assurance on scope, solutions, constraints, and risks • Drive to analyze/document current and future business process models be able to identify areas of potential improvement • Perform in a lead role on medium and large projects including oversight of consultant resources and mentoring less senior resources. • Lead business stakeholders and other business systems analysts thru the business analysis life-cycle to make and support solution recommendations • Analyze/document high-level requirements (scope) • Analyze/document detailed functional requirements and business rules (develop use cases) • Perform knowledge transfer and provide ongoing leadership, to support project go-live and beyond, operations and support activities. • Ability to establish yourself as a thought partner; with internal customers • Ability to lead the discussion to identify problems, alternatives and solutions • Facilitating and supporting system and user acceptance testing • Participate or lead roadmap discussions and vendor assessments • Keeping management apprised of developments through clear and timely communication *Qualifications * • 8+ years experience as a business systems analyst with enterprise solution such as SAP, Oracle, SalesForce, or call center technology • Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking and analysis, small and large group facilitation and presentation skills, as well as IT leadership skills • Pharma, Life sciences industry and Commercial Business Operations process knowledge is required • Knowledge of the revenue cycle from contract creation to revenue and entitlement tracking is preferred • Ability to provide guidance and oversight to less senior BSA and guide contractors to ensure long term capabilities and support requirements are met.
