*Position - Test Data Management Practice Lead *
* Location - Owings Mills, MD*
* Duration: 3+ months *
*Group Responsibility*
- *Creation of test data within the organization*
- *For any testing/project teams that require test data, this team is
responsible for creating that data. They use masking, synthetic data
creation, etc. to create data*
- *Additionally, trying to see how we can assist the testing teams to be
more efficient in their testing*
- *To accomplish this, use tools called “Grid Tools” recently
acquired by CA (Computer Associates).*
- *Need to interact with testing teams, to expand the groups practice,
understand the capabilities this team offers. A lot of the testing teams
still produce their own test data. Organizations strategy is to get them
away from doing this.*

*Responsibilities -:*
- Responsible for data provisioning services to allow for the creation
of obfuscated and synthetic data to be injected when needed for test and
development work within the pre-production environments.

- Through the use of synthetic and obfuscated data it is the
responsibility of the practice manager to provide pre-production
environments with secure test data.
- It is the responsibility of the manager and the Test Data Management
team to conduct constant review of data within the pre-production
environments and that the data remains secure eliminating any possible
security breaches.

- When necessary the Practice Manager will need to confront teams and
work with them to instill and have the teams abide by the established
security policy and procedures.
- The manager is also responsible for managing the subsetting of data
and the use of the Test Data Warehouse as the Gold Copy of synthetic and
subsetted data to support test efforts at.
- The Practice Manager will be the evangelist of the Test Data
Management practice and will be constantly interacting with the testing
teams to expand the work of the team.
- The manager will take advantage of existing test data tools (GRID
Tools) as well as investigate other technologies that may help with
facilitating the objectives of the practice.

- Whenever possible the manager should look to reduce and avoid cost
while improving quality; which is done by using tools and processes to
standardize, automate and centralize test data acquisition, creation and
provisioning.
*Qualifications/Requirements:*
- 5+ years as a hands-on technical lead in one of any of the following
core domains: software development, testing, Q&A, test data management
- 5+ years of project or software development *management in large
technology oriented company.*
- *5+ years’ experience working in technical capacity mixed technology
complex tech stack environments to include any of the following: mainframe,
UNIX/AIX, Client/Server, LAMP, Hosted/Cloud based infrastructure*
- *4+ years’ experience with large scale SDLC projects with costs around
$1M and spanning in duration more than 18 months*
- *4+ years’ experience developing, maintaining and managing single or
multiple test data tool sets.*
- *2+ year experience in health care/life insurance in either IT or
business operations, with a hands on role as technical/business lead
experience must include exposure to one or more industry process such as
claims, enrollment, provider, clearinghouse, or service oriented processes *
- *Experience in full life cycle project management and leadership. *
- *Proven ability to budget, organize and manage teams. Assist with
project management on multiple projects. Must be able to teach, develop,
and motivate associates. *
- *Experience in supporting a broad range of technologies and
application platforms. *
- *Strong communication skills with the ability to work and interact
with both technical and business resources.*
*Key Required Skills*
- *Experience as a Technical Lead with test data*
- *Ability to lead testers in this environment*
- *Experience with a Test Data Management Tool with the ability to
create synthetic data and mask data*
- *Grid Tools is highly preferred*
- *Optum is a second preferred tool*
- *Understanding technology, but also understanding how testing teams
use the data. Understand the systems, types of scenarios*
