You must enjoy working in a collaborative environment, be willing to iterate, have a quick-wit, and be deeply passionate about both upstream customer IT & IS needs and downstream business associates/ vendors such as cloud hosting partners, etc. *What we're looking for you to do:* - Lead cloud production deployment architectures to monitor, investigate, and resolve issues with production services and verify that it operates at maximum performance and reliability, designing in additional efficiencies as opportunity permits. - Deliver performance on key metrics such as application responsiveness, resiliency, etc. - Support security and compliance efforts by working closely with Product development team, and our technology vendors. - Exhibit strong customer on-boarding process by understanding and supporting customer IT needs such as Single SignOn, sandbox testing, infrastructure deployment, etc. - Manage the execution and support of efficient application release procedures and processes. - Support the management team in monitoring established SLAs with customers and key technology vendors. - Demonstrated ability to effectively support implementation plans with our customers and technology vendors by speaking with their respective IT team as needed. *What you need to have:* - 3 to 5 years experience in managing high-volume, high-availability, and high performing SaaS applications is required preferably in enterprise SaaS. - Understanding of/experience with the following: o Continuous integration/deployment in large cloud/SaaS environments. o Experience with Mercurial and Git. o Extensive experience with Linux administration. o System provisioning, automation and configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, etc. o Identity management systems such as SAML, OAuth2, AD, and role-based access. o System/deployment administration experience in a 24x7, high-availability production environment is highly desirable. o Experience in agile development methodologies (Sprints & Kanban) in Java stack. - Willing/able to provide, if required, after hours, on-call and escalation support of our product 24x7 cloud hosting environment, system outages and incident response. - B.S. degree in an engineering and / or technical discipline from an accredited college / university required; advanced degree is a plus - Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation easily consumed by a non-technical audience. - Ability to thrive in startup environment.
