*Role : Project Manager* *Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Location : NYC,NY* I have 2 positions for a long term consultant @ my best financial client in New York City. The main part of the role is Middle and Back office Securities/ trade processing/ and accounting General Ledger is a huge Plus Our client, a major global investment bank is looking for a BA/PM Consultant to work on a major Back Office Renewal Project. *THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Responsibilities will include current/target state system architecture analysis, current and target state business process analysis, requirements engineering, test plan development, partnering and communicating with stakeholders in the Finance stream. - The BA will be highly technical working in a matrix team environment with other BAs, system architects, application leads, developers, change management leads, stakeholders/users, and QA groups. *Key Responsibilities:* - *Analyze business processes* supported by current state mainframe environment and document functions, applications, in-bound/out-bound feeds, data flows, reports, and stakeholders impacted. - Translate current state to target state operating/infrastructure model through work sessions with systems Architect and Application Leads, and Business stakeholders. - *Develop requirements* *engineering plan*s and identify requirements deliverables for the Finance work stream. - *Document *Finance business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, traceability matrices, data dictionaries/models, signoffs, and change control procedures. - Contribute to work stream plans to decommission the mainframe and migrate critical functions ensuring timeframes and resourcing are estimated accurately - *Collaborate *with application leads and business leads to monitor the activities, tasks, milestones and deliverables within the project plan, reporting formal statuses at least weekly - *Identify risks and issues* that affect project slippage with mitigations and recommendations to protect the plan - *Develop SIT/QA/UAT test plans and scripts*; manage the defect/resolution process with IT and business leads; and obtain formal user sign offs for the test plan and exit results - *Organize project documentation and test results* on share point ensuring work papers are auditable and traceable - *Ensure SDLC best practices* are followed throughout the project life cycle (sign offs, requirements change control, frequent plan updates, RAID logs, etc.) *Qualifications:* - *10+ years overall experience* in Capital Markets and 7 years of BA experience - Strong knowledge of *front-to-back securities transaction processing, *particularly in Equities, including the impacts to Finance (GL, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Product Control, Treasury, etc.). - *Written and verbal communication skills are essential *for success in this role. - Ability to work cooperatively with challenging stakeholders and IT colleagues in a matrix environment; ability to research business / system processes; extract information in an organized way from subject matter experts; to generate accurate, detailed business / system process architecture diagrams and documents; ability to articulate solid recommendations, vet options, and influence solutions in a productive manner. - Solid understanding of business process analysis, requirements engineering disciplines, *SDLC phases/methodologies*, testing practices/tools, toll gate entry/exit criteria, and change control. - *Basic Accounting knowledge or experience with accounting systems* (e.g., General Ledger, Regulatory Reporting, Product Control, Treasury) . - Bachelor’s degree *Regards* *Vikas Gupta* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221,Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701* *Email :[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Contact No : 302-261-3207 X 109* *Hangout :vikas9181.vsg* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
