DESCRIPTION:
* Senior Developer who has experience designing, developing, and
deploying BusinessObjects XI v3 enterprise level BI solutions (e.g.,
CMC/Supervisor, Universes, DeskI reports and webI reports) via
BusinessObjects using best industry practices.
* In addition, this position is responsible for helping train others in
Universe and report development. The Senior Developer's primary
responsibility is to develop and maintain the data model and Universes
as well as build out Xcelsius Dashboards with hands on experience with
PL/SQL
.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Hands on Design, develop and maintain Universes using Designer.
* Hands on Design and build Xcelsius Dasboards version 2008
* Make recommendations to improve the efficiency and functionality of
the enterprise-wide data repositories.
* Function as an administrator of the Business Objects CMC/Supervisor
environment and ensure acceptable performance.
* Develop and implement the full suite of Business Intelligence
solutions: Reports, Universes, Data Marts, and Central Management
Server(CMS) .
* Collaborate with business analysts in the creation of logical design
and with database administrators in the implementation of physical
designs.
* Establish and implement best practices to ensure data quality and
perform quality reviews of data models.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 4 years experience with using Business Objects suite components as
Designer and Report Developer.
* In-depth experience of CMC/Supervisor, Designer, Desktop Intelligence
and Web Intelligence.
* 3+ years experience with Advanced SQL preferred.
* Previous experience in requirements gathering, process and data
analysis.
* Proven history of working with various modeling techniques, data flow
diagrams and workflow diagrams.
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining Business Objects XI server
environment experience preferred
* Prior experience with a programming language strongly preferred.
